Through DTH, as the name says, signals are directly received from the satellite by the dish installed at your premise. You will also need a set top box connected with your TV and a dish. AKASH Basic Set Top Box
The STB MRP of BDT 2,499 will be same for all subscriber groups (i.e. Employee, employee FnF, group employee) for AKASH BASIC STB.
Additionally, AKASH has brought to you a special recharge offer if you recharge at once for 6 or 12 months. Recharge for 6 months and get 1 month additional subscription completely FREE! Recharge for 12 months and get 2 months additional subscription completely FREE!
The minimum purchase amount needed to be eligible for EMI facility is BDT 5,000. As AKASH connection with AKASH BASIC STB is BDT 3,999, you will need to buy subscription with the connection to avail EMI facility.

Akash Services
The warranty policy will be same as other AKASH STBs. Here it is: When a registered subscriber purchases any new AKASH Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) from authorized Dealer, she/he will automatically receive a repair and replacement warranty for the 1st year from the date of activation of AKASH services. Registered subscriber will further get maintenance services for the 2nd year in relation to CPE from the date of activation of AKASH. However, registered subscriber would be responsible to pay for any equipment or accessories and any other charges outside the scope of maintenance. For the sake of clarity, CPE shall mean components and accessories to enable reception of AKASH services, which shall include dish antenna; low noise block (LNB) feed horn and Set Top Box (STB).
